I hear you say "what?" when you read the titel of this blog. Yeah well i've got some stuff to tell. And I couldn't sum it up in any other way haha. Above you see a preview of the new layout that will be used in the wordpress blog. This entry will probably be my last post on cutenews. I do think I will only transfer my tutorials to WP, but I might consider the fashion posts aswell.

I'm currently in the process of building the layout. My parents are away on a holiday, so you would think that I would have plenty of time to work on it. wrong. I have actually got less free time now, then when my parents are at home. Have to water plants, cook every day (yeah right ... ), walk the dog 3 times a day, go to work, shop for food yada yada. Exhausting! Not to forget that today we had some festivity in our village, and I had to make music with the drumband at 8:15 AM ! On a sunday! Bloody hell ..

The advantage of parents not being home is that you can receive packages without getting comments about them. I ordered some shoes (*cough* 6 pair *cough*) and I placed an order @ H&M, but offcourse that takes forever like always.

Speaking of H&M ...


I got my hands on that jacket above. Oh it's so lovely *drools*. Everything above is from H&M (current collection fall/winter) except the shoes. That's where the "granny" part comes in ! I saw these type of boots everywhere online. Sometimes boots, sometimes more a pump/ankle boot version of it. I was sold, immediately. So before I actually bought some online, I thought of the boots that my grandma ever gave me to sell online. I believe I never sold them, I did had them on MP (dutch ebay-like) but I remember that people didn't bid high enough for them. I'm not 100% sure, but I'm too lazy to check today, so i'm going to check tomorrow.

Anywayz, I ordered the jacket and the hat @ H&M (jacket coming september :( blah), shoes I already have, same goes for the jeans (same kinda style, mine aren't H&M) and I hope to purchaze the bag this friday with my giftcard (wich I can't use online offcourse, grr!). Yay for free shopping !

Yeah, you got it right. DB.net has been updated. It took me a long time, and mostly because I was so satisfacted with the way the previous layout looked. It didn't screamed "update me" yet, but sometimes website's just need change without reason.

DB.net was exceeding bandwidth. I have no idea what caused it, but an unknown source is giving my website a lot of hits, and I mean a lot. Therefor DB.net was offline for a day or 3 I believe. The last day I got pissed, and sent my host an second emailing asking them to answer my question asap. Because I thought I got flooded with comments on my blog, and that that was causing the bandwidth to exceed. In order to remove those comments, I had to login into cutenews, but I couldn't even visit my website.

They manually turned my website back on, and here I am. I immediately blocked a few robots, and updated a few behind the scene things that will hopefully prevent my website from going down again.

Hope you enjoy the new layout. I'm not sure how it looks on Windows IE, i'm too tired to test it on that. I'm sure there are mistakes in it, as there always are (damn IE), but I can't be bothered right now. I removed most "messing up" things from the layout, the others are for tomorrow, or the day after that. Cheers!

Ugh, after I had the chance to celebrate "carnaval" for 4 days, I went from party animal to party pooper. The "season" started with a "visiting day" to look at all the trucks that participated in the parade. It was a fun, but very busy day.

On sunday, there was the parade. Awsome, it wasn't even that cold! We had a small group, but it was a fun group to walk with. Late in the afternoon we got back to our homebase, and prepared for our first night of "carnaval".

Sundaynight, oh what a night. At first everybody was pretty tired, since it was a long day and a long walk. But after 30 minutes or so everybody was awake again haha, and the party began! It was awsome. We didn't visited the prince, he just lives too far away in our opinion.

On monday I had to work on a website, spend 4 hours working on it then prepared for another night of carnaval. This night is the less attractive night of all. Since on this night the prizes will be announced to all the groups. It takes upto 2 hours to finish. Wich is such a shame, it's 2 hours without music. After all, it was a good night after that.

Tuesday I felt horrible. My headache got worse (I had it long before carnaval, so booz isn't the issue here!) .. but still I went to the carnaval, since the days before it helped to calm down my head and to take my mind off things. Unfortunately it didn't, it got worse.

After all, it was a good carnaval, but it could have been allot better if I was in good healthy condition. It sucks. So now i'm sitting here, at my workplace, because I have to work since they have nobody else to fill in for me, with a dripping nose feeling totally screwed up. Ugh!
